Welcome to Julie Burton Law

Julie Burton Law offers highly specialist legal advice specifically to secure the rights of people with disabilities to appropriate services, and to support them and their families, friends, carers and others in managing their affairs generally.

Julie Burton Law can help people with physical disabilities, people with a learning disability, older people, people with mental health problems and people who need NHS continuing health care services. Importantly we can also help family and carers. Additionally Julie Burton Law can provide a range of services for any one seeking to plan for the future.

Julie Burton Law works closely with other solicitors firms and voluntary sector organisations including advocacy and carer groups. We help people to get the services they need and to which they have a right.

Julie Burton Law welcomes enquiries from anyone in need of our services, and from their families and carers. We also accept referrals from other solicitors, the official solicitor, doctors, nurses, social workers, advocates and others.

Julie Burton Law holds a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to provide specialist legal advice through the Community Legal Service in the areas of Community Care law and Mental Health law. This enables us to take on cases involving applications to a variety of courts including the tribunal service, the high court by way of judicial review, the court of protection and the county court.

Julie Burton Law can also advise on planning for future care including making wills, administering estates, drawing up lasting powers of attorney and applying to be appointed as a deputy.

Julie Burton Law will access 'Legal Aid' public funding for all who qualify.

Julie Burton Law works across North Wales and beyond.
